Meg Hankel

Meg Hankel is a doctoral student in the history of art. She specializes in the history of photography, modern and contemporary art, and new media. She earned an MA degree in art history from the University of Georgia in 2017, and a BA in art history from Columbia College Chicago in 2009. Her dissertation research focuses on the stereograph and the use of 3D technologies (such as VR) in contemporary art practices. Other research interests include the intersection of art, gaming, and the theory of play, as well as the development of color technology in analog and digital photography. Before pursuing graduate studies, she worked as a freelance photographer and archivist in Chicago, IL.


Jalen Chang

Jalen Chang is a third-year PhD student in Art History at the University of Pennsylvania, holds an MA from Williams College in Art History, and is a sub-amateur bowler.


Arely Marisol Peña

Arely Marisol Peña is from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and Houston, Texas. They are a writer and transdisciplinary artist interested in unfixed modes of being. Their work explores and develops a theoretical framework of greyness as a proposal for liberation. She earned a BFA in Photography from the University of Houston and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania.
